Acquisition: Robert Pack 1995 Starting Lineup Action Figure

Robert Pack has a history of being undervalued.  In 1991, he went undrafted out of USC.  In 1992, the Blazers dealt him to the Nuggets for a second-round draft pick.  In 2014, he's been shipped to my doorstep for two dollars and forty-nine cents.

Possibly the most underrated little guy dunker of all-time, the aptly-named Pack was known to attack the rim with a degree of authority seldom seen from 6'2'' point guards.  But he was more than just a dunker.  In the '94 Playoffs, Pack dropped 23 points --- most of them during the second half --- in Denver's closeout game-five victory over the top-seeded Seattle SuperSonics.  It was the first time in NBA history that an eight seed had defeated a one seed, and Pack had been the game's leading scorer.

Pack missed many games due to injury, which is unfortunate but not surprising given his aggressive approach to the game.  Still, for an undrafted, undersized point guard with a suspect jump shot, he was able to put together quite the NBA career.  Pacman, over the course of thirteen seasons, averaged about nine points per game and gobbled up over twenty million dollars in salary.  He also competed in the Slam Dunk Contest and has the distinction of being the smallest man ever to have Shawn Kemp'd Shawn Kemp

Presently, Pack works as an assistant coach for the OKC Thunder.  Between his NBA playing and coaching careers, he contributed positively to international basketball relations.  I'm pretty stoked about the action figure --- Pack's signature high-top fade is on point, and the blankness of his facial expression captures his ferocity.  For $2.49, this was a no-brainer.
